Odds and ends, this and that
We spent the entire afternoon yesterday folding and putting away laundry, rearranging the furniture in my youngest daughter's room, and trying to put up new curtains in Noah's room. (I say trying because it just wasn't happening. Whoever designed this house built the window in his room with less than 2 inches from the corner of the wall to the window facing... No room for the curtain rod and finial.) We still haven't taken down the Christmas tree. Perhaps tomorrow night.
The dog is suffering from gastroenteritis. I think it began last week (game night) .... he was quite flatulent (nothing like dog toots to get a party going) and we spent the evening shuffling him outside or to other rooms after he made his presence known in a silent but nearly deadly way. It progressed from an invisible malady to a quite visible one (if you get my drift), thus I took him to the vet today. We have 2 kinds of medicine now, plus some special doggy food till his insides are feeling better. I think he is doing better already.
We're gearing up for some winter weather here. Sleet/freezing drizzle changing to snow, with more snow on Wednesday. They say we're looking at 6-11 inches. Brrrrr....
I started this blog back in November and never mentioned it to my husband. He noticed me working on this post and asked what it was. He was very surprised to find that I had a blog and hadn't told him. I figured he'd just think it was one more thing for me to waste my time on the computer with. Hopefully that won't be true. He doesn't seem too upset with the idea. I think it would be neat if he'd start one too. Maybe I should suggest that. How many of you have blogging spouses???

My spouse has a secret blog, but I think he's only posted on it once. And I'll never tell the name of it. :-) He loves to read other folks blogs, though. Especially mine. And he likes that I have one -- he reads it when he's at work. Feels more connected.
My husband started his blog back in January. I loved reading it and decided I wanted one too, so I started mine in May. I love it!!

Nope, that's not me...
Hey, even MY spouse thingy has a blog. He doesn't post in it often, but it's out there. http://ised8u.blogspot.com If Mike can do it, so can Brian! At the very least, doing it got him to "get" why I do it...
