A stroke of luck

When we last visited the ongoing saga of our Christmas letters, I was headed to Office Depot for a new color cartridge. Upon arriving at OD, I perused the many offerings (single packs, double packs, mixed packs of 1 color cartridge and 1 black cartridge), I decided upon the color/black combo, figuring that the black ink would run out eventually. Little did I know what a wise decision that was! After I got home and installed the color cartridge and printed the test page, the printer readout said, "black ink low." What are the odds?? I felt like quite the Girl Scout as I installed the second cartridge. Mission accomplished. Christmas letters are all printed up. I've addressed 50 envelopes in the last 2-3 days, with more to come once the other set of Christmas photocards arrives in the mail. Looks like we need that original order after all.

I'm off to take some cough medicine. I'm going to wake the dead if I don't get it stopped. Stoopid allergies.

Sounds like you are knee deep in Christmas too. Today is the day I'm scheduled to pick up our holiday cards and mail out packages and I have two kids recovering from a stomach flu. But I think I can muster it. I like your blog!
