Mr. Mouse is no more. Noah alerted us to the fact that the dog was intensely sniffing around the bread drawer again. He opened the drawer to see mousie frantically struggling to free himself from the glue trap. After giving all the kids (and the dog) a chance to see it, we sealed him in a ziploc bag and put him in our outside trash dumpster. I figure it was as humane a way as any.
I'm leaving the other traps in place for a while, just in case there is any family lurking about.

When using glue boards, I try drowning the pests as soon as they're caught. Makes the end come a bit faster. I still prefer spring traps. Snap! It's instant. No pain, no suffering.
